20 reasons to love smart

Keep control in the cold. Roll over the icons to see how active technology improves control in winter conditions.

  Electronic Stability Program (espĀ®).
Winter can cause your car to do unwanted things. Like swerve. Fortunately, the fortwo's espĀ® can sense when you're about to fishtail, and applies the brakes to individual wheels and adjusts engine power to stabilize the car.
  Cornering Brake Control (cbc).
The technical: If you brake on a curve, the cbc ensures optimal distribution on the brake force over the wheels. Translation: Your smart fortwo stays on the road.
  Chassis Balancing.
The smart fortwo is a rear-drive, rear-engine vehicle. As such, the weight distribution allows the vehicle to perform extremely well in snowy, icy conditions. Which is good, because snowy and icy are pretty much the only winter conditions we have.
