The 5-speed automatic with manual shift mode provides for quick gear shifting. The smart fortwo offers a user-friendly automatic gear program which does away with the need to use a clutch pedal – a feature you’ll find particularly convenient in town and city traffic. The transmission also features a kickdown function which changes down by one or two gears when appropriate. Simply press the accelerator right down to harness the engine’s full power potential.
