smart-BRABUS Canada 1 Concept smart fortwo presented at the CIAS (February 15, 2006)
The smart-BRABUS Canada 1 Concept smart fortwo was unveiled today at the Canadian International Autoshow. It demonstrates the individualization capabilities of smart-BRABUS GmbH. The Canada 1 Concept incorporates stylish and dynamic design elements for both interior and exterior.
In April 2002, smart-BRABUS GmbH was founded as a joint venture between smart Gmbh and BRABUS GmbH. Both parent companies hold a 50 percent share in the joint venture. BRABUS, founded in 1977, is a well-known German tuning company.
The interior elements of the Canada 1 Concept smart fortwo will include an exclusive black BRABUS leather/Alcantara cockpit highlighted with seams stitched in red. It will also incorporate red seat back covers and red cockpit trim pieces. The shift knob, handbrake sleeve, and aluminium pedals will all be branded with the BRABUS logo. An exclusive and individual serial number plate will be affixed on the dashboard at the base of the windshield.
The exterior is striking in its custom 'Racing Red' paint. The Canada 1 concept is also equipped with BRABUS front spoiler, side skirts and rear heat shield, BRABUS "Monoblock VI" alloy wheels and BRABUS fuel and air intake cap.
This exclusive customization is offered with the existing Canadian smart fortwo cdi engine specifications and can also be further commissioned in other custom paints and interior trims.
The MSRP for the Canada 1 Concept will be approximately $40,000 and only a maximum of 10 units will be available.
