smart driving event: Vancouver (April 6, 2005)
A smart driving event gave members of the public a chance to put the fortwo to the test. Held during the auto shows in Vancouver, the event allowed hundreds of participants to tackle tight curves and a slalom course, and practice a variety of avoidance manoeuvres. In Vancouver, drivers tested the fortwo's electronic stability program (esp) and its anti-lock braking system (abs) on traction mat designed to mimic icy roads.
